Your role

The Women's Scholarship & Summer Analyst program is designed to accommodate a variety of skills and interests. It offers rotations in areas like coding, quantitative analysis, sales, relationship management, and client interaction. The program recognizes that participants have diverse strengths and passions, and it strives to ensure everyone can maximize their potential during the 11-week experience.

The Women in Markets (Global Markets) program targets penultimate or final year students interested in Global Markets careers at Citi. This program focuses on Client Relationship Management, Trading, Economics, and Finance. Successful applicants will be awarded a scholarship of $5,000 USD towards their education and participate in the 2024 Summer Internship Program. Citi Global Markets offers a broad range of products, from basic to complex financial instruments, across various locations in the Asia Pacific region. Through the internship program, students will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the industry.

    Training & development

    As a Summer Analyst, you will take part in an 11-week rotational Summer Program in Sydney, providing you exposure to:

    • In-depth classroom-style training and education on a variety of market products & fundamentals.
    • Senior leadership and on-desk work experience; working with the best and brightest on the trading floor.
    • 1:1 support from a mentor and buddy who will help guide you on the program and show you the ropes.
    • Formal and informal networking work social events including cohort catch-ups and lunch & learn sessions.
    • Pitching a presentation to your mentors and the senior leadership team at the end of the program.

    About you

    Requirements:

    • You are a results-oriented, driven student who is interested in learning more about global markets! 
    • You are a penultimate or final year student pursuing an Undergraduate/Masters degree in Australia or New Zealand
    • Students with strong academic records from all disciplines, including but not limited to Commerce, Finance, STEM, Actuarial & Law.
    • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
    • You have demonstrated strong leadership; teamwork; and interpersonal skills through extra-curricular activities.
    • You are keen to learn more about the global economical landscape, or willing to provide an opinion or view on a topic of interest - regardless if you think it is right or not!
