Your role

As Financial Industry Risk & Regulatory Intern at Deloitte Malaysia, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Assist in performing model validation for IFRS9 ECL models (PD, LGD, EAD) using R and MS Excel.
  • Assist in performing ECL simulations and reviewing ECL parameters of the models.
  • Assist in developing credit risk models not limited to IFRS9 impairment models, IRB models, and credit scorecards.
  • Assist in Climate Risk Management and Scenario Analysis (CRMSA) and perform research in Climate Risk Stress Test (CRST) methodologies.
  • Ad-Hoc support.

About you

To be considered for this position, you must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative studies such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Economics, etc.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Has a good command of both written and spoken English.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills.
