Culture at Empired Ltd

8.7
8.7 rating for Culture, based on 7 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Very comfortable to work, can reach out to superiors without hesitating, most people are ready to help when asked. After hour culture is great too - most of us sit around and talk on Friday evenings, social events are organised, Friday dinner with friends from the company.

Pretty "Australian" in the good ways. Often going out for drinks and people tend to treat each other well. Upper management tries to stay involved but sometimes hard to get a handle on what they are trying to achieve

The company's culture is amazing! The structure of initially having a mentor/senior guide me through the first few days/weeks in Empired has assisted me immensely. I was able to confidently complete tasks with a review of a senior and with the support of my entire team. There were peak times where overtime were required (i.e. in preparation for Go-Live) that would be fruitful.

Lots of socialising in the office, many colleagues attend lunch together, a few colleagues meet outside work, but many interact online outside of work. Friday drinks, pub-meetings, social lunches.

Haven't met anyone in the company that causes me issues. I was pretty lucky in that when I joined the company the team I was with often got lunch together went out for drinks etc. Some other teams especially where everyone is working remotely or in different states it can feel a bit isolating. (COVID hasn't helped with that). Company often has big social events, Friday drinks downstairs and in general has a good atmosphere to it.

Social: Fridays are relaxed and social, casual and inclusive business updates, interaction from Grads through to upper management. Teamwork: Cross-project/department collaboration is encouraged, gaining insight from more skilled and experienced team members.
