Responsibilities

  • Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
  • Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
  • Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments
  • Fault finding, analysis, and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
  • Deploy, Administer, Support, and maintain middleware applications to enable communication between financial applications on diverse platforms with varying interfaces.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and configuration of JBOSS EAP, JBOSS JON, and EWS environments.
  • Assess and identify appropriate changes and propose recommendations for implementation.
  • Should have experience working with Tomcat, Apache, and other J2EE container technologies.
  • Perform JBOSS EAP, MQ/WMB/WAS/ECM, etc. system administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, problem resolution, system security, and change implementation. 
  • Perform JBOSS installation, administration, and documentation.
  • Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to JBOSS software.
  • Assist the application support team with high-level problem program debugging through heap and thread dump analysis.
  • Work individually or in a team on various system projects related to UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Application support.

Minimum Qualification

  • B. Tech or equivalent degree and proven experience in handling large Linux based server and application infrastructures

  • ITIL Version 3 or 4 foundation Certified preferred.

  • Linux certifications preferred

  • Strong proven experience and technical orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer-service and problem-solving demeanor.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to deliver on timelines.
