Our ANZ Graduate Development Program runs for up to two years and is designed to equip graduates to become exceptional consultants. Graduates will learn about our organisation, business operations, project management and teamwork, at the same time as developing their business and consulting skills. The Program is designed to develop a core set of professional competencies in graduates of all disciplines through varied work-based experience and on-the-job learning which is linked to, and supported by, a process of accreditation and recognition for professional achievement.

Our Summer Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work with us for 12 weeks during the Christmas period break. This is a great opportunity to get some real-world experience that will help you make an informed decision about the direction of your post-university career. Many of our interns go on to become Jacobs graduates and enjoy a long and successful career with us.

Our Jacobs GO (Global Opportunities) Program is a six-month secondment program which is available for our early-career employees with two to five years' experience. The Program facilitates inter-regional and international short-term secondments across our business, providing the opportunity for you to work, adapt and thrive in a different location and culture.

Bring your curiosity, collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, and we'll help you grow, pursue and fulfil what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.

What Graduates Say About Them
  • The flexibility of being able to work from home and in the office. Allows for the benefits of working in an environment that allows you to engage with life outside of work that was unavailable previously while also gaining the benefits of learning from senior staff.
  • Global network, an opportunity to work on large-scale projects, competitive pay and lots of fieldwork.
  • The culture and work environment. The company makes you feel like you are genuinely a part of something greater and all employees are valued and given opportunities for their careers to develop in a multitude of ways.
  • Get to work on major projects that make a difference to surrounding communities
  • Growth prospects, I am consistently guided on the best ways to grow and develop in my role. I have involvement in a variety of projects of different sizes with great autonomy, allowing me to learn quickly.
  • IT support is slow
  • As a smaller office in a large company, it often feels like we are left out from the rest of the company and that there can be a disconnect at times.
  • Hot desking - would be nice to have designated areas for the teams (as in the 10 desks here are all for X team)
  • Unpredictability of hours during projects however this is the nature of consulting.
  • A lot of work

Graduate Success Stories

  • Graduate stories
It’s the extra roles and committees outside of project work that I treasure most and that makes me feel included. Roles such as being the lead of the First Nations Committee; this role allows me to embrace my culture and heritage within the business and gives me the confidence to bring the complete ‘Nick’ to work every day.
