7.4
7.4 rating for Training, based on 29 reviews
Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
As a graduate, we're given a lot of training chances. These can include going to another city for training. The company follows a 70/20/10 (on the job, shadowing someone, formal training) structure on training employees and and this does not stop after the grad year.

Training by doing and learning from others in your team.

Industry shows, formal graduate induction and training, huge number of online courses available for free.

I'm undertaking an upskilling course, and there are plenty of subjects available.

Many opportunities to apply for training to extend my career development. Can take precipio courses for all aspects of the organisation in which i have done many.

I did some scrum training shortly after being hired which was a good introduction. Since then, most of my training has been informal, but immensely helpful and useful for up-skilling.

All training I have done out of actual work tasks has been mediocre.

Although there are a lot of informal training modules, there seems to be a lack of internal training for my role. This isn't a huge issue, however, it would have been nice to have as someone new to the industry and role.

Percipio is a great learning platform.

Project doesn't really have good training
Graduate, Melbourne
Haven't taken on any formal training programs yet, most of my learning has been on the job (mainly self-directed by choice, but team is very helpful in answering any questions).

Training is either on the job, or through Percipio learning platform. Sometimes there are training days for certain certificate if needed.
Graduate, Scoresby
Good opportunity for formal training. Poor informal training as lots of projects lack senior developers to learn off due to the company wanting to keep costs low.

Percipio gets old really fast. More training or guidance for my job role would be helpful. More direct training on how to use particular software or applications.

I have learnt so much on the job with informal training. They do also offer formal courses.

I like most of the training but some of it seems a like a bit of a waste. As in spending all day doing a training event when it could be done in a few hours.
