Diversity at L'Oréal Australia and New Zealand

8.9
8.9 rating for Diversity, based on 23 reviews
Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
Really flexible working arrangements particularly for parents, who often will leave around 2-3pm to organise pickups or care for their children before making up their hours elsewhere in a manner that suits them. Lots of people come back from mat/pat leave with appropriate roles, no sense of their being pushed out.

Most employees are women which is great - I feel super comfortable and never have to worry about getting harassed compared to other companies where this is an issue. However it appears that many higher up positions are still dominated by men, which I find ridiculous considering they talk so much about how much they respect and value diversity. Most of the group are young white women.

These causes are promoted very regularly throughout the company including many brand causes. The company is predominately females and thus is very respectful to women

From my experience, I believe minorities are well represented and equality in the workplace is an upmost priority. Ie. Maternity/paternity leave etc.
