8.00 AM

A morning at N360 for me often includes some organisation and getting prepared for the day to come. I will normally confirm some upcoming appointments, answer some emails and prepare any resources I might need for the day.

Then we might have an allocations meeting where we go through any new referrals and let our team leader know whether we can take on any new clients. This is also a time when we can let our team leader know if we would like to have a certain type of clients, such as paediatric, mental health or assistive technology.

I will then make some phone calls to book new clients, work on a report or do a Telehealth appointment.

11.00 AM

I normally like to do most of my appointments during the middle of the day. Some days I might be out at just 1 appointment, other days there might be 3 – 4, depending on how I like to schedule my calendar that week.

I normally like to schedule my appointments in a similar location so I don’t have to drive as far in one day. I really like that I can have the flexibility to manage my own calendar in that way.

Depending on where my clients are, sometimes I stop and have lunch at a park or by the beach which is really nice.

4.30 PM

In the afternoon once I have finished all of my appointments, I come home and start doing any work that has come up from the appointments. This could include completing my documentation, calling support workers or family members, emailing support coordinators, making resources, researching Interventions or writing a report.
