Most of the other engineers are not of pakeha decent. There could be more women in the engineering teams but in the past couple of years proportionally more women are being hired into engineering roles.

Our company is working towards acquiring the Rainbow tick which means they are a safe working place for the LGBT community. The women in this organisation are great, super talented and supportive people and have postions up and down the hierarchy.

I think our company is trying to improve in this area by developing the graduate and internship opportunites. They are working towards developing avenues for widening recruitment opportunities for people with diplomas (as opposed to degrees) and people from technical backgrounds that show promise.
