      Mō te tūnga | The role

      We have a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to join our Christchurch Digital Business Services - Statistics DevOps team. In this role you will:

      • Analyse, develop, document, manage the quality and associated testing of our systems
      • Provide support and ongoing optimisation of solutions already in production
      • Carry out system analysis and design work as required
      • Engage with our business to understand their needs and requirements, translating them into technical capabilities
      • Continually expand your technical and organisation knowledge

      Starting salary: $76,571

      Mōu | About you

      You are an IT graduate with a passion for software development and ideally knowledge of the following:

      • C#.Net, Java, Microsoft SQL server, Javascript
      • Azure, DevOps, CI/CD
      • Scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
      • Test Driven Development and Business Driven Development
      • Business Analysis skills to understand the problem and the business need
      • Security monitoring and reporting
      • Ability to pick up new technologies quickly
      • Security minded
      • You should have knowledge/familiarity or a commitment to learning/understanding Te Ao Māori, in order to understand and contribute meaningful work and outcomes for Māori communities.
