WHO WE ARE

At VivCourt, we’ve reimagined the purpose of a trading firm. We’re an ambitious team of conscious capitalists going toe-to-toe with the world’s biggest trading firms. We use technology and data to research and deploy trading strategies on the world’s financial markets.

WHY WORK WITH US?

Our size is your advantage. As a graduate joining VivCourt, you'll quickly take on meaningful work responsibilities, forging your career path and accelerating your personal development. Here, you won't be a cog in a machine; you'll be a key contributor. Your fresh perspectives will help us identify new opportunities to drive our growth, and you'll find unwavering support from an experienced team to learn and develop.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Traders at VivCourt encounter various challenges that call on a spectrum of quantitative skills. When tackling certain challenges, traders interact directly with markets, making real-time decisions. When solving more complex problems, they use a more systematic approach, focusing on research, optimisation and operation of automated trading strategies.

We can only accept Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian Permanent Residents.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You’re an undergrad or postgrad with a STEM major or minor
  • You have strong skills in mental maths, probability and logical reasoning
  • If you have skills in data science and statistics, they will be beneficial but not essential
  • You enjoy solving challenging problems in a collaborative way
  • You pair curiosity with determination to get things done and deliver results
  • You communicate clearly and concisely
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. If you also have an existing passion for trading, that’s great, but it’s fine if you don’t; we believe people who love solving challenging problems will thrive in the world of trading.
  • Our traders work with Python to build tools that support decision-making. Some experience writing code is preferred, but if you have a strong interest in learning, we will provide training to get you up to speed

WHAT YOU’LL GET

  • Remuneration: A competitive salary and bonus package (guaranteed bonuses after the first 6 and 12 months)
  • Learning & Development: In-depth trader training program with dedicated trainers, mentors, regular feedback and supportive leadership.
  • Relocation budget: Moving interstate? No worries. We cover flights and initial accommodation.
  • Giving back: You’ll get yearly impact day(s) and social bonuses (10K twice a year) that you can use to support a not-for-profit close to your heart.
  • Great perks: Free food & drinks, gym classes, in-house massages, an annual company trip, a variety of other social activities and much more

A SENSE OF BELONGING

VivCourt is a place where anyone, regardless of background, can feel they belong and their unique value is celebrated. We strongly encourage applications from people from diverse cultures, genders, backgrounds, and abilities.
