Company culture is amazing - hierarchy exists but everyone treats each other with respect

The culture at WSP is something I can't fault. Everyone is very supportive, respectful and understanding. Work-Life balance is heavily encouraged and there is financial support from the company for extra-curricular social activities to encourage peers to socialise and be active outside of the workplace.

From my experience, managers are quite accommodating of staff in terms of working location and flexible working hours. There are many layers in the hierarchy, however it is reasonably acceptable to contact anyone for advice/work.

I think there is a great culture, everyone is really friendly and inclusive and we work well as a team. There is a culture of working overtime which can be stressful especially when there is a lack of support

Very friendly and open office culture, including spaces for collaboration etc. Some opportunities are provided for outside of work activities (e.g. sports).

Staff are approachable and open to discussion and are welcoming to graduates. However, there is a lack of drive to have new staff working together. Senior staff are approachable and appear to create a positive work structure. After ours work culture and networking has been limited. However hard to comment as I have joined on the tail end of covid restrictions

Hours are good and consistent, average 37.5 a week with some quieter and some busier. Very accessible colleagues, going all the way up to the COO/senior management. Socialisation very important and lots of opportunities.

Company culture could be better - most of the effort seems to come from individuals rather than the company more broadly

People in the team are approachable and social

In the office is a professional and friendly environment amongst all colleagues no matter their position. The team is very social and like to organise events outside of work.

Everyone in my team is friendly however most work from home entirely or 80% of the time. It seems that people are comfortable WFH and work well on Sharepoint and Teams. But it is not overly social. However the social club is focusing on in-person events to get people face to face.

Culture is amiable in the office. Teamwork across various disciplines, easy to connect.

Work life balance and safety is highly promoted.

Diversified enough. And can talk to anyone anytime and everyone are helpful

In office hours, the culture is quite good in the small offices. It is easy to ask questions, and no real sense of feeling like someone in a higher up position is "scary" to talk to. Everyone socialises and has a good level of banter. Outside of work hours there are of course smaller friend groups who hang out with each other, and sometimes there is work events for larger groups. However, I would not say that "company culture" extends to after office hours - it is your own culture at that point, not the companies.

Most people are family oriented and tend to leave work on time without much socialising after work. The social events are relatively limited (mostly due to covid) but they are good events when they happen.

I think its good overall! Some people tend to work pretty late into the day without getting paid overtime or bonuses

This is a multi-cultural work base , which I enjoy a lot

Culture amongst the graduates is cultivated through EPN and the graduate program- makes working at the company great :)
