The Graduate Certificate in Health Care Ethics will introduce you to the study of ethics, and a range of ethical issues in the provision of health care services in a Catholic context.

Designed for leaders and educators working in health and aged care, you'll graduate with the skills to engage in reasoned and well-informed debate on the ethical issues implicit in and arising from your professional work.

Entry requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Ethics, an applicant must have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline and be either:

a. a graduate with up to three years' professional experience in business or health care (eg doctors, nurse managers, nurses, mission directors, health care administrators, psychologists, counsellors, social workers, members of ethics committees); or

b. a healthcare professional with five or more years relevant experience; or

c. a senior healthcare professional nominated by his or her employer to undertake the course.
