The Diploma of Science (UniLink) (8 months) allows students to tailor their diploma and develop a unique range of interdisciplinary skills. Offering a flexible range of unit combinations, the course allows students to select a professionally focused program of study. The topics covered seek to blend a range of key scientific skills and knowledge required by current and projected industry needs.

The Diploma of Science is a Higher Education Diploma normally taking eight months of full-time study or part-time equivalent. The course structure requires the successful completion of both compulsory and elective units. The Diploma of Science is an AQF Level 5 Program under the Australian Quality Framework. Admission to the program is normally based on final year secondary results with an English and Mathematics requirement.

Course structure

To qualify for the award of the Diploma of Science (UniLink), students must successfully complete 100 credit points comprising:

3 core units of study (37.5 credit points)
1 stream composed of 5 units of study (62.5 credit points).

Credit for prior study or work
