What you will learn

On successful completion of the program students will have:

  • In-depth knowledge and skills appropriate to undertake further study and research in exercise and sport science.
  • Ability to develop, conduct and manage a research project in exercise and sport science.
  • Ability to independently and critically analyse the results of research projects.
  • Ability to communicate a convincing and reasoned scientific argument at a level and style appropriate to the audience and to report scientific findings in an oral and/or written format.
  • Ability to work on an advanced scientific activity both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Possess an understanding of and respect for the legal and ethical implications of professional Exercise and Sport Science practice in accordance with the charter and Code of Conduct of the AAESS and NHMRC guidelines.
