The Graduate Certificate in Emotional and Behavioural Support in Education takes a multidisciplinary approach in upskilling and educating students. This program will allow you to examine a range of approaches to managing individual student emotional and behaviour needs including creating, monitoring and evaluating individual students and working with stakeholders in addressing academic and social needs. You'll also explore how to implement a behaviour change program.
This program focuses on collaboration, consultation, negotiation, and interdisciplinary teams related to children and young people with disabilities, their families and allied health practitioners, while examining policy development and application, curriculum, and personalised learning.
It will prepare you to successfully meet the needs of children and young people with emotional and/or behavioural needs in education settings.
The Graduate Certificate in Emotional and Behavioural Support in Education is a 40-unit postgraduate coursework program.
