Practitioners of Architectural Science have a profound impact on the function, aesthetics and efficiency of buildings. With a dual specialisation in Sustainable Design and Audio and Acoustics, you will be able to extend your sustainability expertise into the growing area of acoustic design.
Admission to the Master of Architectural Science requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma; or
completion of the requirement of the graduate certificate with a weighted average mark of at least 70 across all the units attempted for the award.
You will graduate prepared for a range of career pathways including architecture, property development, construction or urban planning, corporate real estate, and building services.
The secondary stream could lead to vocational opportunities including audio production, sound design, audio systems design, acoustical consulting, and research and development of audio and acoustics products.
