KEI Cables, established in 1968, manufactures a wide spectrum of cables, ranging from 415V up to 1.1kV, and further extending to 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV, 22kV, 33kV-36kV, 66kV, 110kV, 132kV, 220kV, 275kV, 330kV, and 420kV. These cables are manufactured under a licensing agreement with Brugg Cables Switzerland. KEI's cable offerings include Instrument Cables (with and without Nylon Jacket), Thermocouple cables, Extension/Compensating cables, Concentric bonding cables, Marine & Offshore Cables, Single/Multicore Flexible Wires, LV Power Cables (XLPE and PVC), Control Cables, EPR/Rubber Cables, Signal Cables, Earthing cables, Special cables for Oil and Gas, Mining cables, and machine trailing cables. KEI's LV cables have been manufactured and type-tested to various IEC, BS, and AS/NZS standards and have been supplied to Australia since 2008.
KEI also provides a comprehensive range of 3.3kV to 36kV cables, which have been manufactured and tested in accordance with AS/NZS 1429.1 and AS/NZS:1429.2 standards and independently type-tested by KEMA.
Furthermore, KEI manufactures cables under license for Brugg Cables Switzerland for all cables ranging from 66kV to 420kV. These cables have undergone independent type testing to IEC 60840 at 66kV and 132kV and independent type testing and PQ (Partial Discharge) testing with Brugg accessories to IEC 62067 at 220kV and 420kV, conducted by CESI in Europe.
