CAS has built a supply chain methodology around soil carbon sequestration that integrates three cutting-edge technologies to streamline the carbon removal ecosystem.

It delivers an accurate, transparent, cost-effective, and audited Measurement, Recording/Reporting and Verification (MRV) pipeline that meets the objectives of ISO standards ISO 14064-2:2019 and ISO 14064-3:2019.

The CAS MRV technologies are:

• Measurement: precision soil carbon digital mapping technology (MINS) that measures changes in carbon concentrations at a molecular level across a wide area. The MINS technology delivers a significantly more accurate, real-time result at a fraction of the cost of any other process.
• Recording/Reporting: cloud-based Microsoft Azure platform and blockchain record management system of the Project and MINS data which facilitate transparent and secure reporting.
• Verification: digitally integrated verification and validation audit system using proprietary software to deliver a novel application of ISO 14064-2:2019 and ISO 14064-3:2019 that meets the standards’ objectives while removing the complexity, cost, and fragmentation of existing methodologies.
