I was asked about why I applied, why I chose tech, how I manged my time and prioritized important tasks when I was busy. I was also asked about my previous job and the culture and about how I�d fit into the carsales culture.

Rather than the stock standard STAR type questions, they were more concerned with us as a person as they wanted people who they could work with. So it was more questions about what we liked, what have we worked with, why choose them etc.

Our tech team are enthusiastic and passionate people that know how to work together to think up and breakdown solutions. The best thing is to display your passion for tech and people. Show that you're passionate and driven about tech, about improving your skills and that you love to be involved. Carsales is more than just a workplace, we do a lot of events/workshops and volunteer at a lot of events as well - we LOVE people who like to be involved in their communities and the tech community.
