What I really like about management consulting is that no two days are the same and you get to work across a range of different clients and sectors.

I love the process of starting with lots of disparate, muddy information about a situation and synthesising until I have an insight that brings the situation into focus.

The core skills in consulting are the ability to solve problems, convey information and most importantly interact with people.

I work in our Organisational Performance practice group, working with clients on projects relating to culture, leadership, organisational development, and change management.

As a consultant, I am constantly exploring new ways to solve different puzzles, which means my work varies on a day-to-day basis.

I think the important thing about being here is to accept that you won't know the ‘tricks’ of the consulting trade until you keep at it.
