Byrnecut is a large group with areas to fit every expertise and it has business on multiple continents. There is lots of room to grow, and their retention is great.

We have SANO come up to site at least once a month to talk about mental wellbeing. The EAP assistance program is reiterated a lot. I strongly believe that if i was struggling i would have more than enough people come to my assistance.

The people I associate with on a daily basis have a great work relationship. We all understand our roles and how we can help each other to complete our individual and site tasks for the benefit of the company. After hour socialising is minimal, after a days work i like to have personal time to unwind before bed,

Our company is made up teams from various different backgrounds and we all get along with each very well. Everyone feels welcome regardless of their gender or where they come from.

I am a project engineer looking after the numbers. This involves tracking and analysing data on all aspects of the mining cycle. I also work on budgets and forecasts, monthly invoicing and contract management.

The managers have been fantastic and mentored me well. Very approachable and willing to help when necessary.
